2025 U13 and above Youth Grades

Prebbleton Football Club Partners with High School Old Boys and enters our U13 and U14 teams to play in the Mainland Competition. Prebbleton Football Club runs as an independant Club throughout the Season. 

Registration

Entering the right grade

Our youth grades are for all players who are turning age 13 to age 14 in 2025. It's important that players are entered into the correct grade for their age. After reading the information below, if you are still unsure which grade to enter please contact us admin@prebbletonfootball.co.nz 

U13 Grade

Players who are age 12 and turning 13 in 2025 should register in the U13 grade. Players who turn 13 in October to December 2025 can choose to play in the U13 grade or enter in an U12 team.  

Games are played on Saturday mornings on a Senior field in an eleven aside format. Games are 70 mintues in duration (two 35 minute halves). Games are the same time each week and may be scheduled at our home fields at Kakaha Park, or at other fields around Canterbury. 

U14 Grade

Players who are age 13 and turning 14 in 2025 should register in the U14 grade. Players who turn 14 in October to December 2025 can choose to play in the U14 grade or enter in an U13 team.

Training and games

Training for our youth grades will start mid April with games starting 26 April 2025. Teams will train twice weekly. Trainings will focus on skills and fitness. The season ends in September. All teams will have a coach and manager. Trainings are all held at Kakaha Park, Birches Road, Prebbleton. Games can be scheduled at either Kakaha Park, or other grounds around Canterbury.  

Communication

We will set up WhatsApp groups for all of our teams. Information about training and games is usually sent out via WhatsApp. General information is posted on our Facebook page and we send regular newsletters via email throughout the season. 

Uniform

All players must play in a the correct Club playing top. We will provide playing tops for all players (these are returned at the end of each season. Players provide their own shorts, socks, shin pads (compulsory) and football boots. You can buy official PFC gear through our gear store. There are also hoodies and jackets available and supporters gear. It is not compulsory to purchase PFC gear. 

Club Day 

This will run on 9 March 2025, 12noon-2pm, Kakaha Park. This is fun day and we welcome players and families.
